We are able to be a positive force in the lives of our students because of your generosity.
Capital Campaign
We are excited to announce the launch of our Capital Campaign and we need your help! With your generous donations, we can repair foundational issues with our building, enhance our programs, and provide even more support to those in need in our community.
35 for 35 Campaign
We are celebrating 35 years of improving adult education in Fort Bend County! 35 for 35 is a giving campaign in support of 35 years of education.
Give a one-time gift in honor of the work the Literacy Council volunteers and students have done over the past 35 years.
$35 helps one student with their class curriculum supplies
$350 helps ten students with their GED single-subject testing fee
$3,500 provides professional training to new volunteer tutors and provides operational support to the Literacy Council of Fort Bend County
Gift of Literacy
The Gift of Literacy is an annual or monthly gift you can make at any time that allows the Literacy Council to continue to provide programs and services at multiple locations throughout Fort Bend County. Your contributions enable our students and their families to overcome barriers and thrive in the community.
Through your support, the adult learners improve their English language skills, obtain their GED or prepare for their US Citizenship interview. The Literacy Council provides a path to job improvement, improved health and education.
