Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Passion for helping functional illiterate individuals or limited English proficiency as well as other vulnerable populations.
Experience in event planning, marketing, and production.
Exceptional knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office, Windows, and database systems, creative platforms, like Canva
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including public speaking. Being bilingual is a plus but not required.
Experience with working with event volunteers, community stakeholders, and board of directors.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly and critically.
The ability to represent the organization with professionalism internally and in our served communities.
Self-starter with the ability to work hands-on as needed under limited supervision.
Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the organization.

Requirements:
At least a Bachelor’s degree
Teaching certification
Teaching experience in areas of English Language Arts and math
Proficient with technology in the areas of digital resources, Internet use, web conferencing, and email correspondence
Willingness to work effectively with diverse persons and groups
Responsibilities:
Instruct students in the areas of GED math or Reasoning through Language Arts
Assess students to create an effective learning curriculum based on mandatory GED standards and requirements
Utilize effective teaching techniques and a range of different learning resources and equipment
Manage student behavior
Plan lessons that implement critical thinking/problem solving instruction
Prepare GED lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilities
Maintain records of students’ progress to be reported to the Program and Development Directors
Confer with Program Director to maintain a successful, efficient program
